From July 2011, Meguro Electronics Corporation (having its principal of business at 4-11-1 Minamikase Saiwai-Ku,Kawasaki, President & CEO: Mr. Haruyuki Yoshizawa, hereinafter called "Meguro") and Keisoku Giken Co., Ltd. (having its principal business at 2-12-2 Chigasaki-minami, Tsuzuki-Ku, Yokohama, President & CEO: Mr. Kenji Hirano, hereinafter called "Keisoku Giken") cooperate broadly about development and sales of products for "Image Work Market", "Data Communication" and "Energy Market" which utilized mutual core technologies.
By this cooperation, both companies start together development and marketing for products which combined “radio wave analysis technology” of Meguro and “high-speed digital processing technology and high-speed analog processing technology” of Keisoku Giken, and aim development and sales of original products and collaboration which utilized sales channels of both companies.
Background and purpose of the collaboration
Recently the environment surrounding measuring instrument industry is rapidly changing. For instance, overseas transfers of production site, new entries from overseas, etc. On the other hand, re-organization of frequency use due to the shift to digital terrestrial broadcasting, the needs of new communication technique at the time of disaster, electric power consumption monitoring from the needs of energy consumption reduction, efficient electric transmission using Smart Grid system, etc., the trend to build large scale network such as collaborations across different filed (measurement, monitoring, communication, accumulation and control) and business crossovers etc. have begun.
